Repurposed and Reconstructed

Think of the pieces in Grandmother’s jewelry box… broken or worn out, but too precious and memorable to throw away. Just like beautiful quality antique furniture, vintage jewelry occasionally needs restoration, and sometimes even a complete renovation. The broken chain. A missing portion of beads. Worn cording or knots. A clasp that is simply beyond repair. An item that is original and wonderful, but too compromised to actually wear in public. We come across these items in our collection and have talented artists to create new jewelry from vintage components. Using our large library of resource books on jewelry through the ages, we’ve enjoyed creating new pieces from beautiful old parts, occasionally filling in with contemporary findings or materials, to bring lovely vintage jewelry back to life.
